Butler Brown was an internationally recognized painter from Central Georgia. He was born in Vienna, Ga. and spent most of his life in Hawkinsville, Ga. Mr. Brown was a self-taught landscape artist whose accomplishments have been far reaching. He was featured in “Who’s Who in America”, Art News, Newsweek, People Magazine, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. Mr. Brown’s original paintings were displayed in the White House and are in collections of former President Jimmy Carter, the founder of Capricorn records Phil Walden, and members of the Allman Brothers Band. He has collectors in Germany, Great Britain, Canada, Japan, and throughout the United States.
